Srinagar : Union Minister for Human Resource Development (HRD) Dr M M Pallam Raju Wednesday said Kashmir has witnessed lot of trouble over the past two decades and it is time to move ahead as young “India holds a big promise” for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Raju also said till recently, he was not aware about the delay in reimbursement of Rs 1200 crore funds under Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) and he will look into the issue personally.

Addressing 48th Peace Conference, organized by J&K Peace Foundation, at SKICC on the banks of famous Dal Lake here, the Union HRD Minister said a lot has happened in Kashmir during the past 22 years. “I don’t want to talk about that. It’s time to move ahead,” he said. “We need to think about what needs to be done for the youth of J&K.”
