Fayaz Ahmad Bhat (Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Peace Foundation and Chief Spokesperson Peoples of Asia) has extended Navroz greetings to the people.

In his message of felicitations, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat observed that the festival had high cultural and religious significance and it is the Persian New Year which is being celebrated with fervor and enthusiasm.

Bhat added that the festival carries great importance in our life, guiding us to remain on the path of truthfulness with unshakable faith.

Besides that Bhat said that the day is also observed as World Arbour Day, he has appealed to people to join hands in planting the maximum number of trees for preserving the rapidly deteriorating environment.

He hoped that the day would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity.
Bhat also prayed that this pious occasion will be the beginning of felicitous and Prosper life of the state.
